+ABOUT THIS PROJECT+
This is a project made for ARTS252 Making and Meaning Fall 2015 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The course is instructed by Jessica Kiel-Wornson.
The assignment was to collect at least 30 objects and categorize them with our own system of classification. Then we need to present the categorized objects in our own ways. My 40 pieces of collection in total are all from random places such as on my way to class. Creating a classification system was a little difficult, since now we live in a world with all the rules and systems set up by the great people in the past. Probably the best way to do it is to think without all those restricted rules and principles. Then, I came up with a weird view of world with an AWESOME Bubble Wrap as a God I worship and with only one living person that is me. I also bring my purse Prof. Mew (she's saying hi in the image now!) there. It's a Lonely World. So I preferred all the images monochrome, adding some gifs to make the pages more interesting. Additionally I tried writing rhyming lines, just to play with the word. I hope you have enjoyed this little journey (`・ω・´) 09. 2015. Tachibana Mew |
